The Japan Node of the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) Japan Node is pleased to announce the 4th international workshop in the series – Advance in Neuroinformatics, AINI2016 in Wako, Japan on May 28 and 29, 2016.

We welcome researchers in all fields related to neuroscience, including: interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional researchers of the nervous system at the molecular, cellular, neural circuitry and behavioral levels; analysis tools, neural models, computation, and simulation; brain-machine interfaces and brain-inspired information and communication technology.

This year’s special topic is "Integration of Multi-Dimensional Neuroscience". The program includes keynote lectures, organized sessions, workshops, and general presentations. A number of prominent invited speakers from overseas and Japan are scheduled to participate in the workshop. In last year’s AINI2015, many researchers and young students from various countries attended and discussed the current state and future of neuroinformatics. Thus, the workshop will be beneficial for anyone who is developing or is interested in neuroscientific tools and methods, atlasing and visualization of the brain, integrating and databasing interdisciplinary and multi-dimensional data, and modeling and simulation.

See you in early summer, a beautiful season in Japan.

We are delighted to co-host the 14th INCF Nodes workshop with the INCF Japan Node and their Advances in Neuroinformatics workshop. The focus of the Nodes workshops is on developing international collaborations between INCF Nodes. This meeting promises to be an inspiring and fruitful scientific event with speakers from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America, poster and demonstration sessions, as well as time devoted to collaboration discussions. The format is planned as a great opportunity for building and extending collaborations between groups in INCF’s Asian Nodes, and the whole international INCF network.

Thanks to the INCF Japan Node for hosting this event. We look forward to seeing you in Tokyo!
